Rabbi Jay Stein received his B.A. from Columbia University as well as a B.A. in Ordination and an M.A. in Education from the Jewish Theological Seminary of America. He is the author of “Found in Thought” and an Adjunct Professor at Mercy College. Rabbi Stein was an Alef-Alef Fellow at Tel Aviv University. He has received a Lowenfeld Prize in Practical Theology. He served on the Committee on Jewish Law and Standard and is a Certified Counselor in Chemical Dependence. He is married to his wife, Sharon and is the father of Adi (Zoe), Nina (David), Gavi (Evan), Mia, and Yasi and grandfather to Mo, Malia and Amalia.
